Our Mission:
Mecha de Yale is composed of students on campus who are politically conscious and sensitive to the issues affecting underrepresented peoples of our communities and our nation. Our social and political activism is a direct response to the problems that affect the Latiné population and other communities of color locally, nationally, and globally.

Conexiones is a a student mentorship opportunity for Yale students to be paired with New Haven students in order to connect on identities, work on college applications, and self empowerment. The Conexiones program is a collaboration with Junta for Progressive Action to be able to outreach to as many New Haven students as possible.

Additionally, Conexiones serves as a bridge between the grater New Haven community and the resources available to them within the community.
