Our mission is to bring the national Girl Scouts movement to New Haven, fostering the growth of girls with courage, confidence, and character, ultimately contributing to making the world a better place.
Our Activities:
At Campus Girl Scouts, we are committed to making a positive impact through various activities:
- Troop Meetings:
Every other week, we organize troop meetings at the Boys and Girls Club of New Haven, catering to middle school girls. These meetings serve as a platform for fostering STEM, leadership, and creative skills. Our goal is to empower these girls to embrace their full potential. - Direct Service:
Through direct service initiatives, Campus Girl Scouts actively engages with the community. We believe in making a difference by addressing the needs of those around us. - Focus on Storytelling:
This year, our primary focus is on storytelling. We believe in the power of narratives to inspire, connect, and convey important messages. Through various activities and projects, we aim to nurture the storytelling skills of the girls we work with.
Student Leaders:
Meet our dedicated student leader:
- Claire Donnellan – Coordinator/President:
Claire plays a crucial role as the Coordinator and President of Campus Girl Scouts. Her leadership and commitment drive the success of our initiatives, ensuring that the troop continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young Girl Scouts and the community.
