Our Mission:

Our mission is to partner with the New Haven community to combat period poverty, and provide menstrual health management and education where needed. We also strive to advocate and work within the Yale community to supplement the access to menstrual products and to break down barriers that keep menstruation stigmatized.

Our Activities:

Loaves and Fishes Direct Service We work with a local shelter and distribute menstrual products once a week to supply menstruators with the supplies they need. Each pack has enough products for one cycle and includes pads, tampons, and advil. Loaves and Fishes Direct Service Monthly donations of period packs to local shelter. Community Fridge Partnership Direct Service Contribute menstrual products to community fridge project. Menstrual Product Donation at Loaves and Fishes Direct Service YaleBleeds delivers menstrual products that to a local New Haven shelter called Loaves and Fishes. Each week, a couple of members personally deliver enough products to supply menstruators through one cycle. SPLASH Direct Service Members of the club teach a class through SPLASH to middle and high schoolers about period poverty and menstrual health.
