Our Mission:

Our mission is to partner with the New Haven community to combat period poverty, and provide menstrual health management and education where needed. We also strive to advocate and work within the Yale community to supplement the access to menstrual products and to break down barriers that keep menstruation stigmatized.

Our Activities:

Community Fridge Partnership
Direct Service
Contribute menstrual products to the Dwight Community Fridge project.

Period Packing Parties
Direct Service
Around once a month, we will host an event where YaleBleeds members and members of the greater Yale community come together to create period packs from our period product supply to donate to Loaves and Fishes.

Loaves and Fishes
Direct Service
Monthly donations of period packs to local shelter.

Engage Yale community to raise funds for or direct donation of period products and encourage participation in creating period packs to expand access to menstrual products to menstruators in need.

GREEN Collaboration
This involves the intersection of sustainability and menstrual equity: we will work with GREEN to increase access to sustainable menstrual products and education about sustainable menstrual products.
